I will say I don’t think this list is going to be a fit for everyone! If you are searching for more of a moody or spooky vibe then maybe you should skip this one! I think I could write a whole post simply on this venue but instead let me highlight a few of the best things about them!

I think my favorite part about this venue has to be the historic 1850’s Greek Revival style home that sits at the front of the property. It has undergone many renovations to make it what it is today but I think it is truly a showstopper fi you are looking for a perfect backdrop for your nuptuals that has the southern charm and classic elegance of the white and black exterior with rich wood doors! The inside of the Inn is a perfect getting ready space with everything from sitting parlors, dining rooms, to elegant stairways that make for a storytelling photo opportunity!

The property has over 8 different options for ceremony locations and is truly a well designed canvas to host your perfect wedding day! You have the options of inside the event barn which is host to full bathrooms for guests, a bar for vendors to set up at, and a veranda that would make for a stunning Cocktail hour with the golden sun glow peaking throught the fields of grass in its view.

If you want delicious meals that will WOW your guests then look no further, they have full meals and wait staff taking all of the stress out of needing to bring in caterers. And if you are looking for a truly ALL-IN-ONE location they offer rentals to make for a sitting area, different style tables and chairs, plates, chargers, and linens to fit your asthetic.

Romantic & Timeless Floral Design & Event Planning

I couldn’t help but include this amazing women owned and run business that offers floral design and event planning! They make it easy to execute your vision by pairing the high impact florals with the overall picture of the event space in mind!

First thing let’s talk about their floral work! It is beautiful and they truly can create a look unique to your wedding day! While also allowing for centerpieces to be repurposed into a different arrangement! They do a wonderful job of pairing color palettes, textures, and accents together to create a cohesive bouquet or centerpiece! They made this stunning bouquet with a flat back so it was easy to hold, and didn’t get pollen on the gown with its low profile design but high impact execution!

Now let’s move on to my favorite part of their business which is how they pair florals and planning together! They offer one month, six months, or full service coordination and design! So they truly have a package that fits every desire and need!

Are you a bride who enjoys the planning but just wants help with the last month making sure vendors are paid and the day of design turns out like your vision? Or are you overwhelmed and want to ease to wedding planning by having a coordinator who is like your personal best friend to do all of the heavy lifting of the planning? They truly can meet any need! If you are looking for a mobile bar setup or even just bartenders to use the bar at the venue you choose Caleb and Carlee do a fantastic job crafting signature cocktails that look stunning, and taste amazing at the same time! These two are so full of life and would make a fun addition to your wedding day!

They also have this gorgeous and classic white bar setup that can be taking to a vanue or set up at a backyard wedding to set the tone for the day! I have absolutely loved working with these two in the past and they always make delicious drinks!

If you have an idea in your mind Carlee can bring it to life, from setups to signage she will nail everything down to the final garnish of the drinks!

Bridal Makeup Artist

Makeup is one of those wedding vendors that a lot of brides have been skipping I have noticed, but I feel that if they knew about Sarah they would change their mind and book her instantly! She specializes in timeless bridal makeup! She offers airbrush makeup services which for this Kentucky Summer humidity is the only way to go! it looks flawless and truly is one of the best options for being sweat proof!

Check out Shelby & Lane’s Wedding where Sarah did the makeup for all the bridal party and moms!

Shelby’s makeup still looked untouched at the end of the night even after hours in the heat, a cake smash to the face, and dancing her tail off! Thankfully Sarah leaves a little touch up kit for all of her brides just in case you need a refresh of lipstick or a touch of of concealer!

A moment for the dress! There are a lot of Dress stores but if you have ever been dress shopping before you know that it can be stressful looking through all of the dresses and trying to figure out the best options and stay in budget! My girls at Twirl Boutique in Lexington are above the rest, they are the sweetest most uplifting group of women! They are experienced and truly can find the perfect dress for anyone!

When I have visited Twirl at first entrance it feels like you are entering the most wholesome slice of heaven! White dresses wall to wall, elegant decor, by the cozy feel of being welcomed by your best friends you have yet to meet!

They have versitile styles, accessories, and dresses to fit a range of budgets! Probably my favorite thing is they offer VIP experience shopping, you and your girls get they whole store to yourself, snacks, champagne, the whole expereince to fully enjoy and celebrate this special season of life that you are in!

If I ever have a Vow renewal you know where I will be going! (When Gavin and I got married we lived in Idaho so Twirl wasn’t an option for me but I wish it had been!)

Wedding DJ with 20 Years Experience

I think who you hire as a DJ may be one of the most wedding day altering decisions! Don’t get me wrong I think your photos are one of the only things you will have forever but the right DJ has the ability to change the atmosphere or the reception!

We have had the honor to work with Travis on a few occasions and I can say that he knows how to have people up and dancing! From young to old, he will get people out there for the party!

One of my favorite things is his customizable DJ Booth that you can have your names, date, or really anything displayed on! Not to mention his attitude and skill!

Have you been to the weddings where one song ends then another one begins and it ruins the flow of dancing? I HATE when people almost feel like they need to leave the dance floor after every song and Travis does the best job of blending the songs together so you never really realize the song isn’t all the same! He is lively, personable, and professional!

BBQ Wedding Catering Company

I know, I know! BBQ Buffets are done so often at weddings, and truly I to thought I was ready for that trend to leave! I wanted something different, that was until we had Mark’s Feed Store! This catering company is not your typical pulled pork sandwhich buffet dinner! They have options ranging from pulled pork, brisket, black bean burgers, to diverse sides and add ons of baked apples, red potato salad, southern style green beans, and even desserts!

But here is my secret reasoning for including Mark’s Feed Store in this list! The sauce, you guys! I am telling you whatever they are using it is working! They have multiple sauce options and let you make your meal flavored how you like instead of just the traditional BBQ Sauce.
